Leaving the rig in this precarious position. The rig is owned by Lanier Farms from Tarboro, North Carolina. The operator Michael Wilkinson, 24, of

Below: A dump truck temporarily knocked out power to many residents in the Rising Sun area Monday afternoon, April 10. The driver had just made a delivery at the
State Roads garage at Sylmar Rd. and failed to put down the bed of the truck when he was leaving. The bed caught the power lines along Rt. 273 and tore them down,
trapping the driver in the truck for a 30 minute period. Approximately 620 customers were effected by the power outage, until Conectiv Power made repairs. |
